Hot For The Holidays...Friday Weigh In

Well, its time to get one of those weight loss tickers. I am down a total of 16 pounds since August 15th when I began this journey. I'm not sure exactly how many weeks that is but I am almost positive its seven. This week I lost between 1.5 and 2 lbs. I weighed myself late so I am posting now. I am glad I am seeing some progress as I didn't lose anything last week. Last week I was happy not to have gained, this week I wanted to see some fruits of my labor. My new goal is to be at a minimum of a 20 pound weight loss total by the end of the month. This seems like a realistic goal. Truthfully , a 25 pound loss would be great but I am setting my goal at a minimum five pounds loss by Halloween. I hope everyone participating is doing well.
Peace,
Diva

Chris,
It is a motorized rock climbing wall. It is harder than it looks! I did finally make it to the top! It took awhile though. The machine keeps moving while you climb and you have to pull your body weight up which made it even harder! The speed can be set at slow which was the speed I was on, medium or kinda fast. My gym does not have one but one day I will have a chance to do it again.
Peace,
Diva

Congrats on the loss! I'd gained last week and lost this week, too. I'm really thrilled for you making such overall progress!

Thanks for visiting my HFH post. Congrats on your weight loss! I'm hoping to at least maintain this week but my son's birthday is Thursday. Cake! Ahhhh! Not to mention, I have a million things to do so working out may not happen. Good luck this week!

Congrats, that's great! I agree with setting the more realistic goals -- that way you're sure to obtain it. You don't want a goal that will discourage you, but at the same time, there is plenty of room to overachieve!

Keep it up!

Diva, what great news! Patience is the most difficult when we are working towards goals. Please try to be so you don't get discouraged. It took me 6 months to lose 18 pounds, well maybe not that long as I only weigh at the doctor's office. ;-)

Keep it up girl, you rock!
