Diva's major goals are to one day become a philanthropist and create life changing experiences for people. It looks good to me, but I don't know enough about its purpose to really be able to make any helpful comment.
It's always difficult to write these kind of "personal statements" - like seeing yourself from an outsider's perspective and picking out, as you say, the "essence" of yourself.
But I didn't want to ignore your request ... you've been so helpful to me.

Very interestingly put but good. You are good Diva, you know that right?
Maybe I should add that I plan to be a philanthropist by obtaining donations from others (since I have no money of my ownthat is the only way that dream can materialize!) Besdies, I am so much better at spending other people's money than mine why ruin a good thing?

I *love* the statement and what it says about you! I did notice the semicolon where I think you meant to put a comma before sending, but that's the English major in me... I do love the description, and I think the last sentence is fun!
Thanks for the feedback all. I am going to make a couple changes and submit it tomorrow. Maggie, I did feel the need to throw in some fun since I will be in a very "academica" type of enviornment and I do have other goals in life besides academic ones. Ignore my spelling and grammar this week....Its the last week of school so I am too tired to bother with editing my writing. Lets just pretend I don't teach English this week, K?

CONGRATULATIONS on your 222/211 anniversary! I'm very interested to hear your number 11 stories, even if I have no significant number stories myself. Well... my older daughter was born on 11/22/2000 .... does that count?
Diva, I had someone design my blog, she is the same person that ultimately did Maggie's blog. The link is on the bottom right side bar of my blog - Doodlebug Designs. She was easy to work with and very reasonable in price - I gave it to myself when I was smoke free 6 months (I think it was).
