21 Things to Remember...Life Tips

Someone sent this to me recently when I was feeling kind of down and it helped pick me back up. I really believe that my life is better when my attitude is good. Even when things are not going my way, if I stay grateful for what I do have life is SO much better! Besides, I have a beautiful Siamese cat so what more can I ask for?

Here are the tips:
1. No one can ruin your day without YOUR permission.
2. Most people will be about as happy, as they decide to be
3. Others can stop you temporarily, but only you can do it permanently.
4. Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.
5. Success stops when you do.
6. When your ship comes in…. make sure you are willing to unload it.
7. You will never have it all together.
8. Life is a journey…not a destination. Enjoy the trip!
9. The biggest lie on the planet When I get what I want I will be happy.
10. The best way to escape your problem is to solve it.
11. I’ve learned that ultimately , ‘takers’ lose and ‘givers’ win.

Go to your blogger dashboard.
Choose manage posts.
Check the box on the post(s)you want to label.
Right above your latest post will be a drop down box that says "Label Actions."
Click the arrow and then choose "New Label."
A box will pop up for you to create a label.
Type whatever you want there and it will apply that label to whatever you checked. You can bring all your old posts up today this way.
Then from now on, you will have a label box at the bottom of the posting window whenever you do new posts. You can use a label you've used before - when you start type...say...Chan...then Chantix will pop up and you can choose that. Or you can create a completely new label. You don't have to go back through this process again - you just add the labels as you go.

Diva, because I smoked for 36 years (a pack a day), my PCP initially said he'd keep me on it long term but he renigged when I saw him last and said I'd need to come off it in February - Damn! My comfort level is a full one in the morning and then only a half at night. The longer I can hold off in the morning the better it works for me. Today I messed up and didn't take my morning meds until almost 4pm - Yeee Gads!!

Actually I'm a little confused about the Chantix - it's suppose to protect the receptors from the nicotine - at almost 100 days the nicotine is gone from my body so why am I still dependent on the Chantix? Could this be psychological? If it is, I'll stop it cause I don't need to take any more medications than necessary.
I'm convinced that my "urges" or tuggings as Maggie calls them are mostly routine and in my head, just junk that I'm used to doing with a cigarette and I just need to belly up and get over it - yeah sure, I talk tough but when it comes to smoking, I'm a pussy cat.
